{MAHN-DOE-HANA} - of Spanish origin bestowed upon me by my Argentine parents. At 6'5'' and with a fair complexion, apparently I don't fit the stereotype of the average 'Jose'. When I'm not convincing people that my name really is Jose, you'll usually find me making espresso, riding my bike, or building forts with my kid.

I was born an Army BRAT and moved all over before settling in the South where I attended high school and then college. I majored in Biology/Pre-Med, then headed to law school. I made it through the first semester before dropping out and moving West to study photo at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

Now I create portraits, advertising, and travel images. I'm based in Seattle and live with my wife Naomi and son Soren.

Some special skills: hablo espanol, I travel well, scuba certified, snow and I get along just fine, and my varied education helps me find common ground with my subjects.
